  • No one wants ants, crickets, mites & spiders to invade our homes and landscaping. Our 5-Step Perimeter Pest Program treats your home’s exterior. Beginning at the same time as application 1 of the fertilizer program and continuing into fall. This service treats ants, crickets, spiders and mites just to name some.

We apply a commercial-grade spray band around the perimeter of your home and the surrounding foundation. The treatment acts as an insect barrier! It is safe and will not harm flowers, bushes, soil or lawns.

  • Ideal weather, regular mowing, watering, fertilizing, and if needed insecticide or fungicide applications aren’t enough for a great lawn. We use professional equipment to remove thousands of small plugs from the soil and deposit them on the grass surface. Aeration gives your lawn easy access to rich nutrients to help it flourish. No aeration = stagnant lawn development and growth.

Lawn Aeration helps achieve a plush lawn. Our core removal process allows oxygen & water to reach roots, loosens up soil to promote growth, and breaks up thatch. Thatch is a layer of grass stems, roots, clippings & debris that decompose and over-accumulate over time.

We recommend Lawn Aeration in mid September or October. Over seeding is best in September. With the summer heat passing, this gives the grass seed enough time to germinate as temperatures cool.

  • Fall is the best time to overseed a lawn. Cool nights and shorter days provide the best conditions for seed germination. Grass seed is better able to retain moisture during the fall, and seedlings will thrive.

A lawn that isn’t overseeded tends to grow old. If regularly mowed, it doesn’t have the opportunity to go to seed and propagate itself. Eventually, an old lawn will have trouble maintaining vigorous growth, competing with weeds, and dealing with other lawn stresses.

It's beneficial to integrate new varieties of grass species that may be resistant to drought, disease, or insect damage into a lawn with older varieties that lack these features.

Overseeding in spring is ok. However, most fertilizer programs will be applying a weed and crabgrass preventer herbicide during spring. Most pre-emergent herbicides prevent all seed germination for up to 12 weeks. Instead, it's best to overseed right after aerating the lawn, which is ideally done in the fall.
